Hot Group Visual Presentation

This is the last slide of my presentation.  It is similar to the first except for the middle block.  I used geometric shapes and colors with that had contrast but were muted to create a pattern for each slide.  This pattern is consistent throughout the presentation.  I created small characters that portrayed the concept of each hot-group-character.  I used snippets of each of these to make each color block a thumbnail of what was to come on each slide.  I made them faint enough that the lines don't distract you but add to the hierarchy.  On each slide one full character is revealed sticking to the original block it was previewed in on this slide.

  1. Howdy there,

Not only was your presentation adorable and entertaining, you did a pretty excellent job of including the principles and elements of design. I really liked your choice of colors and their variation in value. Nothing seemed to take over the slide, and all the elements worked in unity. The only thing I had a hard time with,( as we have already covered in class)is the value of the text. It was a bit hard to read. Your use of a overarching "character" for your slides was a great idea, and helped to aid in the rhythm and balance of your presentation. The proportion of the characters was great as well. Using a section of the image, but magnified in the background, was a good use of space. Great stuff!
